Booking and deposit

To book the House of Harmony, please send a 50% deposit of the total reservation cost by bank transfer. If your arrival is within 30 days, the full amount is due instead. Once we receive your payment, your booking is confirmed and we’ll send you a confirmation. Until then, the house is not reserved and may be booked by someone else. If you’ve expressed interest, we’ll hold the house for you for 2 days while you finalise your booking.

Balance

The remaining 50% is due by bank transfer no later than 30 days before arrival. We reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled if any part of the balance is unpaid by the due date.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of €1,000 is also held. It’s returned in full within 3 days of check-out, provided there’s no damage to the house. You can pay it on arrival, or include it in your balance transfer 30 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

60 days or more before arrival: full refund.
59 to 30 days before arrival: the booking deposit (50% of the total) is kept, and any balance already paid is refunded.
29 days or less before arrival: no refund. *
If we’re able to re-book your cancelled dates, we’ll refund what we receive from the new booking, up to the amount you paid, less a €150 handling fee. We’ll list your dates again, but can’t guarantee they’ll be re-booked.
If you check in and leave early, no refund is given.
If we ever have to cancel your booking, you’ll receive a full refund.

* We’re reasonable in genuine emergencies and serious health issues. Please tell us the reason and provide proof, and we’ll do our best to understand your situation. We recommend taking out travel insurance.

Good to know

Any bank transfer fees are paid by the person making the reservation.
Check-in is at 2 p.m., and check-out is at 11 a.m.
The house is strictly for 6 people.
Children under 3 aren’t counted as a full person; a baby cot is free on request, subject to availability.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
The house may not be used for events or parties.
Commercial photography and filming are not allowed.
No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes inside the house.
Beach towels are not provided.
Transfers are by local taxi; you must book in advance, and we’re happy to arrange them.
