Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information House of Harmony collects when you visit houseofharmony.gr or send us an enquiry, why we collect it, and your rights.

Who we are

House of Harmony is a holiday villa in Agios Georgios, 84007 Antiparos, Greece (Property Registry No. (AMA): 00000527499). The person responsible for your data (the “data controller”) is House of Harmony.
You can reach us at [email protected] or +41 79 462 1424.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or message, we receive what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), arrival and departure dates, number of guests and your message.
When you browse the site, we collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics — such as pages visited, device type, approximate location (country or city) and how you found us — but only if you accept analytics cookies.

Our web server also keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, date and time) for security and to keep the site running.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry details to reply to you and arrange your stay. This is necessary to take the steps you ask for before a booking.

If you book, we keep your name, stay dates and payment records because Greek tax and accounting law requires us to.

We use analytics data, only if you agree to it, to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it.

We keep basic server logs to keep the site secure and working properly.

We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data only on our behalf:
• Hostinger — hosts this website and its server logs
• Hostinger — delivers enquiry emails to our inbox
• Google — Google Analytics, only with your consent
• Bunny.net / ShortPixel — deliver gallery images quickly (they see your IP address to send the images)
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies that are needed for it to work. With your consent, it also sets Google Analytics cookies to count visits anonymously. You can accept or decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.
How long we keep it
• Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 2 years, then deleted.
• Booking records: as long as Greek tax law requires.
• Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics setting).
• Server logs: a few weeks, as set by our host.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or the data protection authority in your own country.
